As a person enters Cambodia by tour bus, chartered bus or otherwise you will here trusted individuals say,

"You cannot exchange Thai Baht in Cambodia."

This is not true, then they give you an exchange rate of 30 percent less than should be.

For example: 100 Baht equal 9500 Baht in Siem Reap at the border they give you 7000.

Note I lived for 3 days in Cambodia with only Baht, it is very easy to use Baht and Dollar are the currency used most common in Siem Reap, most of the prices are in Dollars.
