Ideal Accommodation, Hotel, or Hostel

Rooms:

  1. Hammock hooks for extra persons in room.
  2. Hooks to use to attach a clothes line to dry clothes
  3. Fan in the middle of the ceiling.
  4. Lights behind bed for reading.
  5. Storage below bed for backpack
  6. NO bathroom inside the room because it will leak and the management needs the key.
  7. Window is not close to door, so you cannot reach in, and open the lock.
  8. Curtains on all window, that block all light.
  9. Hot water heat by Electric Head.
  10. Hammock in front of room.
  11. Change sheets, only when requested.
  12. The management does not clean the rooms, or only when requested.
  13. Mirror in room.
  14. Do not supply towel
  15. Electrical outlet with both 220 and 110.
  16. Issue sheets upon entrance.
  17. Lock hasp, and lock not provided, but a place close where they can buy.
  18.  

LOCKERS

  1. Steel lockers so thee doors cannot be pried open.
  2. The hinges and hasp of the lockers are bolted and not screws that can be reached with a screwdriver.
  3. Big enough to fit two backpacks..
  4. A shelf on the top.
  5. A coat rod across the top.

BEDROOM FURNITURE

  1. Table
  2. 1 chair
  3. 2-4 Beds
  4. Fan
  5. 2 hammocks hooks
  6. Ashtray
  7. 2 pictures
  8. Reading light
  9.  

BEDROOM OVERFLOW

  1. Hammocks for overflow of people
  2. Bags in storage area.

BEDROOM DORMITORY

  1. Bunkbeds
  2. Storage boxes for backpack

Kitchen:

  1. Lockers for food
  2. No oven
  3. 3 separate 4-burner cook areas, separated by counter space
  4. Spatulas
  5. Person to clean dishes every morning and at night.
  6. Shelf for stuff people want to leave
  7. 2 refrigerators with magic marker to mark stuff.

Breakfast in morning:

  1. Free Breakfast in Morning that includes protein whether eggs, cheese, or meet.
  2. Map or area
  3. Bulletin board of other hotels if this hotel if full.
  4. Bulletin board of hotels in the next city jumps.
  5. Bulletin board of local venders

Common Area:

  1. 3 Couches to lay down on, and nap
  2. Television with Cable
  3. Games
  4. Internet for free 1/2 hours. Sign in sheet

Receptions Areas:

  1. Map of world
  2. Map or area
  3. Bulletin board of other hotels
  4. Bulletin board of local venders
  5. Map to Internet, Stores, Etc.

Bathrooms:

  1. Male and female separated
  2. Bathrooms with only toilet
  3. Hooks to hang clothes,
  4. Shelves for shampoo and other small items..
  5. Sign to remove you stuff.
  6. Able to use a power wash hose to wash or clean the toilet.
  7. Drain below bathroom sink, so that people can spill water on the floor and it will drain.
  8. 6 inch high wall at entrance of toilet to keep water in the room.
  9. Electrical outlets with lids to cover or an adjacent room with only sinks and mirrors.
  10. Hot water on demand heater. Gas
  11. No curtain on entrance so it does not rot

STORAGE - LONG TERM

  1. Locked at all times.
  2. Only management can enter.
  3. Separate boxes for each client.
  4. The must have own lock
  5. Free to help them come back.

CLEANING:

  1. Common areas being cleaned constantly.
  2. Bathrooms cleaned 5 times a day
  3. Dormitory cleaned at 11:00 daily
  4. Private rooms cleaned only when they leave.

ENTRANCE TO BUILDING

  1. Doorbell with sign
  2. Must ring to enter

HAND WASH AREA FOR CLOTHES:

  1. Coin operated machines.
  2. Hand wash area.
  3. Clothes lines
  4. Prefer on roof.
  5. Pick up laundry service at desk
  6. No laundry in the room.
  7. A balcony on the outside of rooms to hang towels.

LOCATIONS: No more than 3 blocks away from:

  1. Major attractions of the area... Example: Beach, city square, market.
  2. Grocery Store or Convenience Store
  3. *Internet Cafe - Sometimes inside the Hotel
  4. Local Transportation (Trolley, Bus Stop, or Transportation)
  5. Bread shop
  6. *Laundry

*These facilities may be located inside the hotel.

INTERNET INSIDE HOSTEL

  1. Free for one-half hour at a time.
  2. Sign up sheet next to computers.
