Hi Andy, Nebraska has great little town parks where you can stay for free, plug into power and meet great people. There is a beautiful little park in Plainview Nebraska with big trees, a pool, and showers. It would be great this time of year. Suggest staying a little to the south as the northern states can still be quite cold until mid June. Visit the northern states after your conference. There are lots of places to camp in our western national forests and grasslands for free.
