This video was taken near my Awasa, Ethiopia Hotel as approximately 30 men and women shown are carrying hoppers of concrete from a cement mixer to the top of a building.

I was walking by this construction project and realized I had a great chance to make a video. The workers may work for weeks constructing the concrete forms, and only one day pouring.



Behind the corrugated steel is a cement mixer, this is truly a modern project here in Ethiopia, having the cement mixer is a luxury. Often project like this are done with people mixing up concrete with shovels



Women work construction jobs in the majority of the developing countries, I think only in the developed world we stop allowing women to work.
