No Plane Today and it Started to Rain in Peru
I spent the whole day waiting for these puddle jumper airlines to tell me we was leaving. They finally told me about noon the reason for the delay, they was waiting for a Bus to arrive from Lima with some cargo destined for Breu, Peru. Finally, at about 2:30 I went to the airport of the second time and got the skinny, or at least some gut level feeling of what was happening.

Travel Journal --- What is your travel problem?

They gave up about 1:30, however since there was not flight, there was also not need to call me, this is the way of the world, if there is no money to be made, then why be considerate. I told the receptionist who was helping me in my Hotel, it is foolish to wait around for them to call, they cancelled the flight, and I have enough experience to know they will not call. She kept trying to tell me to wait, I do not think the mental matrix every enter her brain, there is never ending ability to eat the ideas that are fed, regardless of the logic.
I went to the airport to look in their eyes, I knew the eyes would tell me the truth, while words of just noise.
It started to rain on the way to the airport, I suspect that the airport in Breu is muddy, it is about 6:40 pm Peru, Time it has stopped raining, who knows, maybe the grass runway will be hard enough to land tomorrow.
I am always amused when I hear stories about delays by airlines, there is always a better story, a bigger rant, another story that tops the last one.
I will leave, when I leave.
