Meet Explorers in Lima Peru

Before I flew to Pucallpa, Peru, I visited an office for explorers.

Where would you go if you wanted to meet explorers of the planet? Are there unexplored areas of the planet? Where would be the best place to meet explorers in Lima, Peru?

The South American Explorers Club?
Maybe, but I think I know a better place, there is an office in Lima, Peru that has maps.

This is the topographical map room of the “Instituto Geografico National” in Lima Peru.

I was told to ask for “Instituto Geografico Militar.”

This map may help you if you wanted to visit the Instituto Geografico National in Lima, Peru.

I purchase two map for 69 Soles about 29 dollar for the two, one if of Breu or the Yurua River area near Pucallpa. The other is of the state or department called Ucayali.

I am in the state of Ucayal in Peru, this is a map that shows the general region.

This office had all the topographical maps of Peru, it was a good office and when you want to get serious this is the place to go. There are two aspects of exploration and expeditions, one is the fantasy perspective that is prevalent and reality. This office full of maps of the topography of Peru is for when you get real.

Are there unexplored areas of the planet?
