Where is my Volcano Sunset
I passed by Lago Atitlan, Guatemala maybe eight years ago; there is a memory that cannot be erased from my mind. It was our sun setting over the volcano in the photo. I have arrived a couple months late for to find the imprinted memory, however this sunset is still one of the best the sun has to offer on planet earth.

Lago Atitlan is one of the most beautiful lakes on the planet, however hard to say a volcano is peaceful.

Maybe I'm retarded but couldn't you move a few miles down the lake to get the sun over the Volcano ?

Hmm, you are not retarde, it is possible that Santa Catarina or the next city down the lake is see this over the volcano. Not sure, but not a bad idea... However, taking a small pickup to Santa Catarina and getting back after dark could be interesting.
