I have mentioned it before, however this is good time to reiterate my opinion. There has been a correction in Real Estate prices in the USA and soon there will be a worst correction in the price of retirement or vacation Real Estate purchased overseas.
There will be a 30-70 percent reduction in the value of your overseas vacation home.

The moneychanger have duped retired people in many countries on the planet now for years, the bubble will burst. The only salvation in this crisis is that many of these people paid cash and will still be able to enjoy their horrible investment.

Costa Rica
Belize
The list is long, and I have not visited the whole planet, only 79 countries.
