The hotels of the planet keep coming up with new way of keeping me from taking the key of the tag, I keep coming up with new ways to achieve my goal. The hotel has welded the key ring whereby I cannot remove the tag, therefore when I leave the room I must take the key tag, then the electricity goes off.

I thought, what is in this thing, maybe steel will work, so I found my spatula I carry to use in Hostels of the planet that seem to never supply any cooking utensils and place in the slide.

I now have electricity in my room 24/7 so I can leave my computer and mobile phone and when I return they will be charged, plus my room stays cooler.

While your laughing at that, you may as read how I used my toothbrush to get back into a room when the door handle fell off in Nkawkaw Ghana.

I once was fishing of Subic bay in the Philippines when our boat engine would not start after a little fishing. We were drifting further and further away from land when I remembered an episode of MacGyver where he poured some wine into the battery caps and it started his car. Sure enough I sacrificed a few sips of 20 year old Port and it did the trick and 12 lives where not put to the challenge of swimming for our lives. To this day in Subic Bay there are a few bars that I walk into and greeted with the calls of "MacGyver"
