Is YouTube.com Blocked in Thailand
YouTube.com is blocked in Thailand and it is not blocked, the truth appears to be they are doing both.
I was in an Rangsit where there was no foreigners and YouTube.com has been blocked for a week. I came over to the Khao San Road area and they do not have it blocked.

I think Thailand is trying to be clever; they blocked their people who cannot communicate easily with the world. While the allow the foreigner areas like Khao San Road to have access. Effectively getting the world press off their backs, and unless the World Press and the Foreigners went to off the track places they would never know the truth.
I say,
“Thailand is Blocking YouTube.com from its people.”
Then again, this may be a good idea.

Youtube.com is not blocked outside of Thailand. In Thailand it changes, in the tourist areas I think we can see it, in the non-tourist areas they block from the regular Thai people.

YES Youtube is Blocked yet again in Thailand! As of today Nov 19th 2008!I am an hour south of Bangkok and have a "High Speed" Connection with TOT.CRAP!!!

It is not blocked in the Khao San Road today. November 19, 2008This is my point, you go into a Thailand local area, it is often blocked, thereby stopping the Farang from complaining, but blocking their own people.
