A Reluctance to Enter Developed Countries
I realized a few years ago, the quality of life in the Developed Countries is less than the under-developed countries. I now strive to earn money from the Developed Countries and spend it in the Under Developed.
Easy to understand if I say,
“I earn money in the First World, and I spend it in the Third World.”

The power of introspection is not a normal human trait, I see it in about 1 in 1000 people, they other 999 just follow the mass of humanity trends and fashions. There is a competitive and jealous in the human spirit that is extremely normal, the average person is jealous and envious of their fellow man, whereby they enter into a competition to see if they can be the leader. They want others to be jealous of them, this is in my opinion the motivating forces of the world, jealousy and competition.
I often think of the Bibles Ten Commandments and see they are the solution to this jealousy and competitive nature of humans. The commandments tell you to stop being envious of others, and still the majority of people refuse to accept they are a envious and competitive person.
Henry David Thoreau one of my life long vicarious mentors said to simplify, and in my life, this is what I have done. My life is simple, by default it is simple, because I have no possessions, I have no big need for money, I do not want to buy anything.
The world does not live to enjoy life, the majority of people on planet earth live to go shopping, whereby they hope to somehow elevate their social status to a level where they can stop being envious of their neighbors. A mindless, continuous spiral of purchases in the hope of one day being OK.
I am reluctant to enter Taiwan, South Korea and Japan because I know this construct of Envy is socially enforced at a great magnitude and the quality of my life will decrease.

Because they are not introspective. If you are introspective you will see your faults as well as your strengths. Most do not want to see their own faults so they do not look inward.
