It cost 50 U.S. Dollars less here in Bangkok than in Manila, Philippines. There is some quirk of poorer countries, whereby the cost of living is higher on some issues than richer countries.

Sometimes it just does not make sense.

Like why are the Hotels in West Africa so expensive?
