This page is the table of contents page for an expedition to study isolated tribes in the Breu area of Peru near the Brazil border.
I am organizing an expedition starting on January 15, 2010, if you are interested in joining please click here to contact Andy
This page will be updated as new information is gathered.
I went to the airport today, talked with a couple of Airlines who can fly a group of about six to Patiti. We have room for 3-4 people for this trip, it looks to cost between 2000 - 3000 USA Dollars per person, plus the cost to fly to Peru.
We would fly into Patiti, Peru around January 15, 2010 then go by Peca Peca gas powered canoe away from any known villages for a day or two, hoping to find signs of life, then return to Patiti. Then canoe to Breu passing through some very on the edge of the planet villages. Once in Breu, call to Pucallpa for a plane to pick us up.
I hope to find Anthropology and Ethnology experts, a Movie Maker, a Photographer, and maybe a person that understands Animals and Plants of Peru. I am sure some University types may be up for some Indian Jones type adventure! I will be taking a BGAN Satellite Internet access system along to post daily photos and information.
If you know a person that fits one of these descriptions and you think he or she can canoe and live in the jungle for 20 days, please forward this blog post. Thanks

Hey!
been reading your page, and was thinking about getting more informations from you. I'm a french traveller, for the momenbt established in Pucallpa since few months, and I've been working 10 years in cinema as a technician, in France. I've been reading that you were looking for a film maker, to go on your expedition, and that's something I can work for, as a cinematographer.
Let's talk further by email, if you're interested, and why not meet one day around Yarina or Pucallpa.
It is October 2009, I am right now in the Philippines. I will write you an email.
I am planning for December or January when the water is higher, but thinking maybe earlier because maybe that is not so important.

Why do you go there if these people want to be uncontacted? Why cant you respect that!!! These people have suffered from contacts like yours, thats why they dont want to be contacted.
