Amazon River Foods
If they can cook it, normally the world will eat it, if it moves it better run. Walked by some huge maggot looking worms cooking on a spit over a fire, they were pulsing as they cooked to death here in the Belen Market of Iquitos, Peru.

I have no idea why a person goes to the Zoo when you can go to the Market, buy it, and eat it.

Looks like over-size Maggots waiting to be eaten, fresh meat cooked over the grill.

Cooked Worm on a Stick, they called it Suyi or something like that, it is not easy to get people to clarify.

Tasty looking fish, aagh, this fish looks evil, does not feel evil, but I am not putting ugly fish in my mouth.

There is always a cat, the world will eat anything that is moving and they can kill. I often think not eating anything the move, being a vegetarian is contrary to our basic nature, a fight with nature, what is natural in humans.

Here is a video of the worms, the wiggle, a small video, but fun to watch.

  • No reason to get so worked up, of course WE who dont live on the Amazon River or near it wouldnt dare eat that kind of food. But THEY do. Honestly, its just a few worms, some ugly fish and cat. Chill out, want to see something really gross you should watch a kid eat a long legged spider....and it was ALIVE! I thought Americas Funniest Videos would have spared us that but no!!! All I can say is at least it wasnt a roach :)

  • I even dont like to pronounce your taste.
You are still thousand years back far away from the modern civilization

  • Honestly, what's the fuss about? Suri are delicious (I had some last Saturday, and the day before) and quite wholesome. If they're not to your taste, don't eat them. A billion Hindus won't eat beef. Another billion Moslems (and Jews) won't eat pork. But they don't excoriate YOU for doing so. Why get grossed out about eating a worm?
