Tighten the Belt of get the Noose
Tighten the Belt of get the Noose
I am praying for 10 U.S. Per Gallon gas, I am worried about the USA economy. It is obvious the American culture has no restraint, just a bunch of wimps, crying over everything.
40 Year Mortgages…. Geez, too silly
(I cannot believe this is not illegal.)
I want the economy to tighten up and fly straight before there is a noose around their necks.
If the USA has problems, then travel will get cheaper for me… hehe

Do not get it wrong, if the USA has a noose, then Europe will be dead, however most of the underdeveloped countries will not be a phased as much.
I see the rising price of gas a great blessing, finally getting the USA people to grow up, life is just too easy in the USA. My life is too easy, however, I know dreadful things can happen to a good person.
I almost have trouble talking to Americans, they feel like children, the Europeans feel like 12 year olds, they really do have the dream life, the American dream, they are delusion how rich they are, and that nothing bad can happen to them.
I believe the inherent optimism is too high, they believe tough times is paying 4 dollar for gas, wait until they lose a job and have unemployment at 10-20 percent like France or Germany.
What is the cycles, recessions every 12-14 and depressions every 60-80?
I am positive Obana, Clinton or McCane are powerless, yet 10 dollar gas is not.

I agree with you. I have found it hard to believe the price of gas in the US the last few years was so low. Even in India gas was around $2 a litre (and this was the locals talking, i never bought any). In the Uk it's been fluctuating between $2-4 the last few years (partly because of taxes) yet everyone was saying it was so cheap in the US. That had to break.
And we know that with China sucking up such huge amounts of materials, the price is going to go up for all of us: supply is lower than demand.
I agree. I know as an American I am a child, but am trying to grow, without growing up. (what fun would there be in that).
As an instructor of Beginner Motorcycle Training, I am now seeing a lot of students that want to get bikes mainly to save gas money. They will buy a $15,000 chromed up bike, plus all the riding gear, and try to convince themselves they are saving money. Some now show up in new Prius's, saying how much money they are saving on gas. They never do the calculations to find out if they actually are saving anything. I try to explain to them that my $1,500 car that gets 30MPG saves more $/gas than their big $ new car/bike. It's like talking to a wall with some of them. That's OK. Eventually they will want a newer car and their old car will become my next new car.
Yes, we are children. And like children, if things go wrong in our lives or country, we will blame someone else. I hope by that time I will have at least grown enough to be considered a 12 year old.
