Luck of the Lottery Air Tickets
It was a lucky day on the internet; I snagged a one-way plane ticket on Travelocity.com from Guatemala to Lima for 313.50 U.S. Dollars.
I am calling this a lottery, more a forced random luck, driven by persistence.

I have been trying Spiritair.com to here, to there, and could have purchased a ticket on their site for 440 about a month ago. I was trying every possible combination of bounces between Guatemala and Lima, Peru. American Airline, Copa, Taca, everything was a bus; Kayak.com just was crashing at 884 one-way.
I have been committed to trying until I hit the lottery by chance my friend Steve called on Skype.com and was search in Travelocity. He found some cheap paths, I thought why not try Travelocity.com and amazingly I caught a fish on the first cast.
Persistence is needed.
Knowledge of what is a good fare. (Difficult)
Various air milk routes known.
Flexible schedule
Willing to buy and pay with a credit card immediately.
You have to purchase when it happens, no backing out.
Guatemala to Fort Lauderdale to Lima on May 26, 2008, I was willing to try until I won the lottery of Air Tickets, I knew that I must continually try until I found the path.
Panajachel and all of Guatemala is getting to tame, Steve says moss is growing on me. I need to feel the road, get some action, and find the path. Iquitos, Peru is the interface between semi-civilized Peru and the Amazon River, a truly on the end crazy place that make the boys of Cannery Row look passive.
