I travel alone, sometimes I think, what would happen if I fell down and could not get up in my room, what if I just fell over sick walking down the road?

Old people must be scared to travel alone, there is nobody to care or watch for them in places like Guatemala. They need to take organized tours to be safe.

What is the solution, who is to watch me…? Strange as it sounds, most men get a girl-in-tow so they have a babysitter, and they need it, I do not.

I think the Hotels should offer special upgraded registration process for people who want to be watched, and pay a fee to be watched.

I am not stupid macho, I know I am there are good Gods, and I know I am not one of them. Being that I know this, I know I will fall down one day and die, full stop.

I truly do my best to ignore 99 percent of illness, they all seem to go away, some refuse to be ignore, and I will when the refuse to be ignore.

This I know…
- If I fall down in the street, they will come and take me somewhere that wants money. I am not sure, I feel 80 percent sure they will repair my body providing I have money.

- I suppose I should have on me….
Business Card to the Hotel I am staying in… this is the most important thing.
- I need tags, label by my name, somehow, maybe a plastic card on me that has name, address and who to contact in case of emergency.

I tend to laugh here, people will tag their bags and identify better than their bodies.

- I know, if I pay my rent in my room rent in advance, nobody will ever come and check my room to see if I am inside.

SOLUTIONS
I think hotels should have exclusive type registrations where a person would fill out a good registration, truly good, not just these joke registrations.

I personally would only trust an Expat business, preferably German, maybe USA, Canadians, and let them know, pay them, let them know I want to be watched… hehehe

This is funny also; the boom boom hotels on the planet, the more macho male ones watch and protect me more than the ambiguous gender hotels, which cannot even protect themselves, halfway me.

I am a big bull ape, I know some days other alpha males need to be around to cover my back, as I do, whether they like it or not.

The job of hotel is to protect me, keep me safe, and give me safe space. I think they could upgrade this registrations and I would be happier. I refuse to register with an embassy; I think I would be dead by the time they knew what happened.

So if you are an old person, there are some hotel, I know a few where you could check in as one person, then say to the owner, not the manager, I need to be watched, please do this, I will pay you.

Expat communities are full of Expats drinking and watching each other, there is a reason they live in Expatriate communities and why they exist.

I post markers in the blog, this says right now on this date, I am in Panajchel, Guatemala; this is a good registration process.

I could imaging doing watch you trips, I could say, I am going to be in Peru for a month, anyone who wants to come and live in this city from X to X, come and I will guarantee you are watched.
