A Foreigner in the USA
I have not lived in the United State of America for over 10 years. Yes, I was born in the USA, I have an American Passport, I come to visit, but I am a foreigner in my own country.

FOREIGNER DEFINED
1. somebody from another country: somebody who comes from a country other than your own

2. outsider: somebody who does not feel, or is not deemed to be, part of a group

I am a stranger in my own country, I am the outsider, I do not fit in, I do not know how to fit in, and I do not think I want to fit in and be part of the USA or any country.

I guess I want be part of the USA more than an other country on the planet, truly the best of a lot of bad choices.

I travel to paradise, and for fleeting moments, days and months it is, however I must admit, it is never better than home once I take off the tourist goggles.
