2008 March 27 Entered Guatemala Friday, March 28, 2008 2008 March 27 Entered Guatemala I have left Acapulco, Mexico and flew to Guatemala, City; I am now in Antigua, Guatemala. I flew one-way from Acapulco to Guatemala with a change of planes in Mexico, City. I used Mexicana Airlines and the ticket cost 250 US Dollars, not a cheap flight, but maybe cheap for Mexico or the USA. --------------------------------- Antigua, Guatemala. One hour from Guatemala Cit Friday, March 28, 2008 Andy of HoboTraveler.com --- Free Hotel Webpage ---------------------------------- The plane left at 7:00 in the morning, too much argument with Taxis so I just left the hotel, the taxis wanted 45 U.S. dollar to go to the airport, and I paid 2.5 U.S. by taking two collectivos at a dollar per fare and one bus. Mexico loves to put you between a rock and a hard place and extract money. To take a taxi at 4:30 in the morning from Pie de la Cuesta was a dream trip for a Taxi, they love to extract cash.
