Thailand Traveler Conversations

Hey Andy,
You have been traveling for 12 years! I don't think you will ever find a spot on this planet that will be the perfect place to make you happy all the time. You like to wander and soon become bored of your surroundings. What are you looking for anyways? If you wrote a list of all the things and places that made you happy and then you received them, you would still get bored of them. Maybe you need a place to hang you hat for awhile. Like opening your own hostel, which you've talked about. Create a living place, instead of this virtual world. Maybe your due for a real cold shower and a slap across the face. When you get to Africa it's going to be the same aggravations.

Now you know that feeling when you go and stay at your parents house in the USA. That sense of home. Sense of security. No body cooks as good Mom. Do you feel that? If you could create that feeling in your own hostel.

I tell you one thing hobo. When you go home this time to the USA. Better look at the people that love you and throw some of that love in your backpack. Cause when they are gone, there is not another chance. I took my mom for granted my whole life. Family is all you got and it's not forever.
