I made a comment on another blog that was more or less talking about the same idea of buying the perfect backpack, if I remember correctly.
One Travelers Quest for the Ultimate Backpack
Interesting article, written in travel writer mode, however has some good points. I have no opinion on this issue of testing yet that is clear, and as of now, I do not have a backpack to test. I may have one soon, or supposed to have one in eight days Filipino time.
I am not going to hurry or attempt to slap a backpack out just to have number 12 example made. I will test one I hope for a couple of months, and then go for an upgrade. Materials is still a huge problem, however I think the zipper problem is solved. I will now collect all the best possible materials and send or bring to Rodney in the Philippines.
I may have posted prematurely on this other site, however was just tagging the writer. I am not sure how to proceed with the Beta Testing, however I plan on sending 10 bags to travelers to try, or throw away as they please.
I need people who have probably over two-three years of continuous travel under their belt, and are moving as we speak. They then must be able to write and explain in words what they feel and think. This is not a game for me; this is as the man says a quest. I cannot buy the bag; I know I must make the bag.
Maybe the Windmill is a good name.
