Marker to allow readers to know where I am located. I will now insert about 7 days of post that have not been posted due to no access on trip from Bobo, Burkina Faso to Kita, Mali.
I am presently in Bangkok, Thailand after about a 40 hours porthole to porthole trip. A flight from Bamako, Mail to Nairobi, Kenya, layover from 6:00 to 23:00 then a flight to Bangkok, Thailand.
Sitting in a room watching CNN and AC about the same price as dust room in Mali, and wondering what is happening on the planet, Burma is having problems next door.

Andy,
Glad to hear you are ok. I thought you were either real sick or got robbed. Enjoy that air conditioning and the TV. Presently in San Pedro, Guatemala trying to teach myself CSS and Spanish. Take it easy.

Hello Scott
I am on good internet, went to your page and subscribed with RssFwd.com to the Atom.
Thanks
I was sick, but kept secret to keep my parents from worrying, not sure what was wrong. Plus sick of Africa.
CSS...? We are up to our ears in CSS problems on Hobohideout.com
Andy,
Where do the keep all the stick thin dying children in Africa that are being raised by grand and great-grand parents ? I was watching a program about World Vision charity and it looked like you would trip over these people if you went to Africa. It made me cry. But the NGO's had nice clean clothes. Looks like they didn't have to wear anything twice but the kids looked like they only had one dress or shirt (ripped dirty)just wondering were they are ? Sudan ? Detroit ?
I have not clearly found the children they are showing. For sure in the Sahara parts of Africa children under 5 die more than should be. African babies and smaller chidren in the Sahel areas are naturally thinner than what we would normally think as normal.
Food is for plentiful, however because of culture mostly, then secondly lack of growing various crops some children are have nutrient deficiency, however the more I learn, so do American children who eat chips and cookies all day, they are prone to be sick.
World Vision is in many ways just full of crap.
NGO is a Business, think of it as a business.
