Oprah Winfrey Leadership AcademyBangkok Thailand Southeast Asia January 4, 2007 Oprah Winfrey a talk show host from the USA opened a school in the country of South Africa. - The Leadership Academy, which is located in Henley-on-Klip in Gauteng Province, opens on Tuesday, January 2, 2007.- Henly on Klip appears to be about 20-25 miles south of -Johannesburg, city in northeastern South Africa, capital of Gauteng Province-(2)  This is excellent, I am happy, a black person from the USA has made a statement. I truly feel the leadership of Africa can best be served by black persons like Oprah who have a the ability to say, look at me, I am black and you can be like me. I was appalled at cultural beliefs I encountered in Africa, it was as if the black people of West Africa were waiting for the white man to come and save them. This is a cultural change here by Oprah saying, you can do it. Plus, I do believe women will be the leaders of Africa, Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy
