I do not know this game, they was playing on the beach in front of the Wharf Hotel at the Grand Bassam Beach here in the country of Ivory Coast.
I think this was checkers, not positive, they has a different name for it, however when they do good, they bang them on the table. The banging is similar to playing dominoes in many countries on the planet.
