Empathy Impaired

I keep searching for a term to describe a condition of the mind I see or experience daily.

I was in the internet cafe this morning.

Two ladies from Germany were buying a bus to Koh Tao, maybe a cost of 500 Baht or about 13 dollars U.S.

They say,

- Can I pay with Credit Card? -

I do not even want to explain, it is just too stupid.

I could see the grimace in the Thailand girls face as she said no.

Only time I used a Credit card was to buy my flight home.... Noone carries $500 or so in cash i don't think!

Andy Here,Everyone is empathy impaired at times, I learn every day how I fail to understand cultures or people. I laugh often to myself about the blog, the blog is written about MY experience, then it offends others.I do not offend myself, the blog is written to myself. I try to not care about what other say or think. I try to share my experience. Then people are angry when I share my experience.However many writers share what they believe their readers wish to hear. This make the readers believe they have a right to hear what they want.This commment was not about money, it was about any empathy impaired situation.Nobody is perfect, of course I am often with zero empathy.I know when I type a sentence, I empathize exactly that I will offend.
