I took a bus to Khon Kaen to visit a friend. I did walk around today and found nobody but strangely the man in the hardware that spoke English.... hehehe
The girl that sold chicken spoke a few words, however what is precious about Khon Kaen is there is no tourist. The Thai people are happy to meet me on all and any level, they are delighted and their eyes light up when I walk in a store. They wave, slow down, this is the joy of travel.
