CUZCO PERU PARAN - STRIKE

< Older | Newer >

There is a strike or paran here in Cuzco, Peru.

All the business are supposed to be closed.
All the transportation is to stop.

In reality almost all are open, just more difficult to enter, maybe you have to know, the door will be closed, but they are working inside. Never sure what the goal is, seem like they want a vacation day because these have been going on for years and very little change. However I have no idea what the issue is or really I am not concerned.

  • Andy: I just got back from Peru and MP. A comment and a question:You should have done the four day trek. Much more challenging. How could you have done it in February? I thought they closed the trail in February for cleaning?
