EUROPE?
I am in Internet Hell!
Amsterdam.
I cannot find a place to use my USB.
The internet cafe here had a USB port and it does not work on the machines. I guess it is here to flustrate people.
Some drunk with stinky feet lands on the lower bunk after getting tanked below in my
flop house bar Hostel.
It appears to be normal in Europe to give you the worst part of a Hostel the dorm beds and take away the best parts...
i.e. Kitchen, common areas to meet travelers.
But Amsterdam is for drugs and prostitutes and after they are done with that they go and look at the Canal, Architecture, Van Gogh, Anne Frank.
NOTE that cheap airplane tickets are confusing to buy here.
I am trying to find the Israel people or Statravel.com office, because for sure I am just in a pay through the nose tourist area here.
But for sure I will have some good photos of the canal and other nefarious things.
My friend from Norway wrote me...
She helped to lead me away from home on this Hobo Journey.
AS Rod Stewart said in the song Maggie Mae
Wake up Maggie, I think I've got something to say to you
It's late September and I really should be back at school
I know I keep you amused
But I fell I'm being used
Oh Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more
You led me away from home
Just to save you from being alone
You stole my heart and that's what really hurts
The morning sun when it's in your eyes really shows your age
But that don't worry me none, in my eyes you're everything
I laughed at all of your jokes
My love you didn't need to coax
Oh Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more
You led me away from home
Just to save you from being alone
You stole my soul and that's a pain I can do without
All I needed was a friend to lend a helping hand
But you turned into a lover and mother, what a lover, you wore me out
All you did was wreck my bed
And in the morning kick me in the head
Oh Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more
You led me away from home
'Cause you didn't want to be alone
You stole my heart, I couldn't leave you if I tried
I suppose I could collecd my books and go on back to school
Or steal my daddy's cue and make a living at playing pool
Or find myself a rock and roll band
That needs a helping hand
Oh Maggie, I wished I'd never seen your face
You made a first class fool out of me
But I'm as blind as a fool can be
You stole my heart but I love you anyway
I'd never seen your face
I'll get on back home, one of these days
Rod Stewart - Maggie Mae Lyrics
So we wander the planet like nomads, wondering why?
