Travelers and tourist can be... How do I say this. Idiots. The way they decide on how to look at a city is by following the advice of all their friends. Normally that just gets you to their favorite bar, and a good place to find a shag. Especially in the younger set.

I am not too excited about the United Nations and all they do. Sort of a look at us type of thing. But here is a list that will help a traveler to not go crazy.
THE WORLD HERITAGE LIST
IT IS
a World Heritage List of cultural and natural properties, submitted by the States Parties (COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD) and considered to be of outstanding universal value.
This is a list of places that the United Nations or UNESCO considers historically or culturally or for some reason important. That could also probably mean politically.
IT IS A GREAT WAY TO MAKE A CHOICE ON WHAT TO VISIT FOR SURE OR A MUST SEE.
