Every Kilometer there was another makers for the Death March in the Philippines, I was on the way to Subic Bay or Olongapo

Behind the road side salesperson is a swampy like area, there are houses inside the swamp
or lowlands. The Philippines is subject to floods and problems with drainage.
This type of land 50 years ago would have been torture for the death march.
