How to make a bungee cord not bungee so much?

This is the frayed end of a nylon cord or rope.

Burn it so it will not come unwound.

You can pull the end out. Thread the nylon cord up and tie on the end. BURN it together and it will not come untied.

You will have to experiment a little. But the rope needs to be longer then the bungee cord to stretch.

Wind it around the bungee cord to take up the slack.
