Sleeping Guard at Palestine Hotel in Baghdad Iraq

I went from the Al Fanar Hotel to the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad on September 1, 2003 to use the internet at 5:00 in the morning. I got padded down before this final stop. As I walked by I took this photo. There was lots of USA Soldier in the Tanks and other people awake, so I thought it was funny. He was leaning against the sign and this was a good picture. The flash on my creative camera is not powerful and it did not come out good. I deleted the photo. But on the 2nd of September at the same time I walked again to the Palestine to use the Internet. (It was broken)

The boy came up to me an cornered me. Not really but wanted me to stop so he could talk privately. He said in a threatoning manners.
"Did you take photo?"
I said,
"Yes, but did not come out?"

He said something about getting fired, and I did not think much about it. Typically type crap. But this is the Palestine and not the cheapies. So this is the what goes around comes around. I publish the photo for the world. But then again. It did not really come out.
